Angelina was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated from Valley High School in 2019 and is currently enrolled at CNM to continue with the Veterinary Tech program after she will continue over at UNM to get her biology degree. She considers this to be an amazing opportunity to get more hands on experience and get ahead on her learning!
Brittney was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She realized from a very young age that she loves animals and wanted to be a voice for those that have none. This spurred her into pursuing a career in the veterinary field. After high school Brittney attended the University of New Mexico where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology. She soon realized she had a passion for wildlife rehab and went on to complete a Wildlife Rehabilitation Certificate. After, she volunteered at Wildlife Rescue of New Mexico for one year until she became part of the NWAC in March of 2014.
Brittney finds great joy in loving each and every animal that comes into the clinic, big or small, furry or feathery. She especially enjoys interacting with the reptilian creatures we see.
Outside of the NWAC family, she lives with her adventurous and fun loving boyfriend, their fluffy kitty named T-Spoon, and their yellow-scaled Banana Ball Python named Naners. She enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, health/fitness, and teaching fourth graders at bible study. <3
Cheyanne is a farm girl from Northern New Mexico where she was born and raised. She moved to the Albuquerque area in 2008 and began attending Central New Mexico Community College for an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology the following year. She graduated from CNM in 2011 and went on to pass the state and national exams to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of New Mexico the same year. Cheyanne began her career at NWAC in March of 2012.
At home, Cheyanne has dogs, a young son, and a wonderful husband. She grew up around animals and loves working with animals. For her, life without animals is unimaginable, to see the appreciation and love animals give, gives her great satisfaction in her heart to know that she can help them when they need it.
Debbie has worked for Dr. Riegger since 1983. She became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 1979. She enjoys all aspects of patient care, but is particularly drawn toward assisting in all areas of pet surgeries.
Debbie and her husband have been doting dog parents for many years and even met each other when she cared for his famous dog, Garbanzo.
Heather was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico but lived in Colorado from 2004 to 2011. She was home schooled until her sophomore year of high school when she began going to CNM full time as a dual credit student. In 2018 she graduated from CNM with an Associate’s degree in veterinary technologies.
She began working at NWAC in August of 2020. She longs to at some point adopt aging dogs from the shelters to give them a forever home instead of living their whole life in a shelter setting.
Heather has a dog named Sammy and a cockatiel named Grayson. Heather is married to her husband Steven as of June 2020.
Marissa is an Albuquerque native who resides with her husband and two boys in Rio Rancho. She graduated from the UNM Anderson School of Management in 2013. Marissa became part of the NWAC family in 2019 and feels extremely blessed to work with such an amazing team of individuals.
She has two dogs named Giovanni and Danny whom she absolutely considers to be family. She enjoys hanging out with family and friends and also cheering for her sons on the soccer field.
Megan has worked for Dr. Riegger since 2005. It has been the most amazing and supportive place to work.
Megan has a fantastic husband, 3 amazing kids and 1 very talkative kitty cat.
Mia was born in Japan on an air force base, and quickly moved with her mom and brother to New Mexico where she became a green chile and desert native. She graduated from UNM, and is still figuring out where she wants life to take her in her career. She just recently joined the NWAC loving family and is learning a lot about all critters, big and small. She is anxious to see how many four-legged companions she can help save and take care of along the way,
Tori has worked for Northwest Animal Clinic since May of 2005. She first started coming here as a client in 1995. She has always loved and enjoyed animals in her life. The most exotic animals she has had are a pet fox and deer while growing up as a child.
Tori’s true passion is her family. She has a wonderful husband of close to 20 years, two beautiful children (Marcus and Izabella), and Miniature Australian Shepherd named Cash. She enjoys family, camping, fishing, and boating. Most of all she loves to watch her children play baseball, softball, and basketball.
Yvette is an Albuquerque native. She joined the NWAC family in 2016. She feels very blessed to work with animals and their owners alongside a great team of co-workers.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, lovely daughter, and super cute fur baby Paisley. Some of her favorite hobbies are running, shopping, and watching movies.
Tanner is an Albuquerque native who has always had a passion for learning about and caring for animals. He attended the University of New Mexico and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2020. He became part of the Northwest Animal Clinic team in 2021, and is very happy to provide care and treatment for any and all animals. Outside of the clinic, Tanner enjoys creating artwork, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
